This juvenile history, published in 1878, and cowritten by Eggleston's daughter, Elizabeth Eggleston Seelye, is a dramatic rendition of the life of the Shawnee leader Tecumseh (1768-1813) and his brother Tenskwatawa (1775-1836), known as the Shawnee Prophet.
