The tale of an angel who falls to earth, The Wonderful Visit is a charming allegory. The angel’s pureness and wholesomeness are bewildering to the villagers, and the angel himself has a difficult time adapting to town life, but as time passes he develops—for better or worse—human qualities and emotions.
